Every year our church hosts a conference called Make Room. It’s an amazing, jammed packed weekend of strategic principles and resources for building your local church. We go all out to host pastors, leaders and church staff to provide them with anything and everything to help their church succeed. As of right now, there are 93 days left til I move to Durban, South Africa. Yes, that’s crazy. The time is going faster and faster. Each day makes a distinct difference!
This past weekend was actually the 100 day mark. It was a fun and celebratory time! Kassie and I kept passing each other at church and yelling “100 days!!” Including sharing the time line with everyone else we passed!

The Life Church just launched it’s new campus location in Collierville, TN this past Sunday! The Collierville campus had been meeting at the local YMCA but just a few weeks ago we purchased a building to become the permanent home. Since acquiring the building, it’s been a busy time of renovation, decorating and cleaning. This past weekend was the much anticipated launch!

…and it’s not one of my strengths! I’ve been writing more letters for support. Long ones, short ones, and everything in between. I always end up writing something, scratching it out then starting over. Once I get them in the mail I will feel so relieved. Mostly because I can’t change them any more!

My launch date to move to Durban, South Africa is getting closer and closer! I am moving to South Africa to help plant The Life Church Durban. It will be a campus of my home church The Life Church in Memphis, TN.
It is such an amazing opportunity to be able to serve my church and build God’s Kingdom on an international level! I am extremely excited to get to go!

November is just a week away and fall has been in full swing. It’s been unusually rainy in Memphis but the cooler weather is definitely welcomed. I’ve been anxious for the trees to start turning colors now that it’s cooler. They’ve been slow about it but today the trees have really turned. Faint golden yellows, deep and bright reds, warm browns, burnt oranges and elegant purples have all shown up. I miss the vibrant colors of New England but still enjoy any fall colors.
